When you marry an electric vehicle motor with a bicycle drivetrain, torque is the key to everything. Our CYC-powered motor system has the best torque-sensing ability in the market.  This means better pedal assist, incredible traction control, and of course better speed. 

Amazing Torque Sensing and Regulated Power Transfer. While riding Overland Labz' vehicles, you'll crawl along the sandy beach without getting stuck in the sugar sand. You'll breeze through the backwoods trails with precise speed control.  All the while, our motor will make sure you never have too much or too little drive assistance, regardless of weight or terrain variations.

Max Power-to-weight Ratio.  At under 8.4 pounds (3.8 kilograms), our motor system offers three times the adventure power at half the weight of our competitors' mid-drive motors.

Whisper-Quiet Operation.  Our motor makes almost no sound at all. Compare that to our competitors' noisy four-stroke and hub-drive systems.  At 60 decibels, our nominal motor noise under power is less than the noise of an ATV just idling!

Transparency. The motor controller firmware used by our  motor controler is open source and available for you to inspect and review. In addition, several third-party apps  support this controller system.

Throttle Capable.  Our motor system is throttle capable for tricky navigation and hard work tasks like dragging captured game, carrying home the catch of the day, or moving things around on the homestead.

The 52-Volt Difference.  High voltage supplied to the drive system means greater overall vehicle power, but also preservation of amp-hours, resulting in longer riding times and greater range.

Mid-frame Drive.  Mid-frame motor mounting creates a precise gravitational center while permitting the use of a variety of powertain components that are better for outdoor and off-road use. 

Zero Exhaust Emissions.  Our motor produces a fraction of the carbon emissions of piston-motor vehicles, heated gasses, or odors. This makes it better for stealthy operation and clean, comfortable enjoyment.

Excellent Range.  As equipped on Overland Labz' Coastline Crawler and Scout models, our motors offer effective cruising ranges of 20 to 65 miles. 

The Option for Full Human Power.  If your battery depletes fully, our motors are build to provide  zero internal drag when the rider is pedaling and acting as the sole source of power for the vehicle (bicycle mode).  Full human power also reduces the noise footprint of the vehicle for increased stealthiness.
